1 November 2022

Discover more about Finance+ Mental Fitness, a theme for ICAS throughout November as part of our Finance+ insight series.

Throughout November, we will be bringing you thought leadership, insight and practical guidance around the theme of mental fitness and exploring its impact on our profession today and in the future.

Finance + Mental Fitness – what to expect in November

ICAS has made a long-term commitment to mental fitness through our 'Health Minds' pledge. The initiative aims to open up conversation, provide support and continue breaking down the stigma surrounding mental wellbeing issues. That's why this November we are looking to make a long-term commitment to mental fitness. This November, we’re looking at ways to develop and support healthy minds and happy workplaces.  We want to keep the conversation going and keep making progress towards a healthier, happier and more sustainable accountancy profession.

Diverse mental health issues are reflected in the content you’ll regularly find across icas.com and will be the feature of our Finance+ Insights series throughout this month.

We’ll break down what is meant by ‘mental fitness’, why it’s important for everyone and commercially imperative for business. We will delve into the key issues affecting accountancy and mental fitness, diving deeper into wellness at work, the role leaders play in long-lasting progress, and a better work-life balance.

Join us for a Finance+ event on advocating for mental health in the workplace, with Jason Harvie CA, who will host this event, joined by speakers Jonny Jacobs CA, Alastair Campbell and Fiona Miller to discuss the importance of wellbeing on business performance and the crucial role of leaders in changing cultures and supporting employees.
