Quality connected

We’ve put over 160 years of experience into refining our prestigious CA qualification and training that's primed to lead the modern business world. With ICAS you can meet and maintain a standard that’s respected and enjoy a career of which you can always be proud.

Professionally connected

As a member of ICAS you won’t practice in isolation. Through initiatives such as our local and international Area Networks, exclusive events and Career Connections mentoring platform, we foster the bonds between our members, so CAs at all stages of their careers can learn from shared experience and build the networks to succeed.

Internationally connected

Our renowned qualification is at the heart of an international business community of over 23,000 members, full of local heroes and leaders at the global greats. We actively promote the CA designation worldwide and, through membership of the Global Accounting Alliance, various reciprocity agreements and overseas collaborations, ensure that no matter the time zone, you’re always connected.

As an ICAS Member you're also part of the 750,000-member Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW), the body that brings together 14 of the world’s leading institutes of Chartered Accountants, including ICAS, to form a global network with a combined total of 750,000 members across 190 countries.

Intelligently connected

It’s important for CAs to keep pace with all the latest events in the profession and the wider corporate world. That’s why our dedicated editorial team produces a range of specialist content to keep you informed, updated, educated and entertained. CA Weekly delivers all the latest ICAS news, exclusive insight, thought leadership and technical updates direct to your inbox every Tuesday and through our award-winning monthly publication, The CA magazine, you have easy access to all the critical news, features and interviews to stay truly informed and inspired.

Ethically connected

Your CA designation and ICAS membership ensure that the business world, and public in general, can be confident that you are trustworthy and accountable. The internationally respected ICAS Code of Ethics applies to all Members and underpins our Royal Charter commitment to act in the public interest, whilst our thought leadership, regulatory role, guidance and research projects all contribute to making your ICAS membership an essential element of your professional career.

Successfully connected

As a qualified CA it’s important to keep your skills at the forefront, to fully satisfy your professional duties and ensure your career can withstand the challenges, and grasp the opportunities, of the future. The dedicated team at ICAS employs a strategic approach with an in-depth programme of technical and specialised training designed to boost your skills and refresh your expertise. And through use of our online resources your progression can continue wherever you might be: at home, in the office or on the move.

Always connected

At ICAS we believe that business, and our organisation, should work for the benefit of people. Through the ICAS Foundation we aim to help academically talented young people from disadvantaged communities study at university by providing mentoring and financial assistance. We also take pride in supporting qualified members and their dependants in times of need through SCABA, the Scottish Chartered Accountants Benevolent Association, which offers a range of grants, loans, advice and assistance.
