5 October 2021

Main points:

  • Chartered Accountants Worldwide has issued a survey seeking views on the action needed at COP26 in November 2021.
  • Chartered Accountants and finance professionals, across numerous roles, can be a powerful force for good in meeting the key challenge of the decade.
  • The findings from the survey will be presented to leaders at a COP26 Intergenerational Event in November.

We highlight a survey from Chartered Accountants Worldwide seeking your views on the action you want to see agreed at COP26.

Chartered Accountants Worldwide is asking you to share your thoughts and concerns on the global climate crisis and what action you want to see agreed at COP26 in November 2021 by completing our survey.

What we do in the coming decade to tackle the climate crisis will define us all. In November 2021, the UN Climate Change summit is in Glasgow. We believe that Chartered Accountants and finance professionals, across numerous roles, can be a powerful force for good in meeting the key challenge of the decade. We want to gather the thoughts and opinions of young finance and business professionals on how you think our leaders in business and politics need to act.

As part of our commitment to fighting the climate crisis, for every response we receive, we will donate £1 to the WWF Climate Crisis Fund up to a maximum of £5,000.

Our goal is to capture the thoughts and concerns of young professionals globally on the climate crisis and what action you would like to see the current leadership taking in the fight against climate change. The findings will be presented to leaders at our COP26 Intergenerational Event in November.

The research findings will be incorporated into a range of activities to make your voice heard. Directed at leaders, it will capture how you think our leaders in business and politics are doing when it comes to tackling the climate crisis and create a call for future action.

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
