Joint Insolvency Examination Board Training Programme for Insolvency Professionals
The Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) examinations are a set of professional exams for those who want to become a licensed insolvency practitioner.
Recognised both inside and outside insolvency, JIEB is your opportunity to lay the foundations for a career in one of the UK's most rewarding professions.
ICAS Professional Development provides an excellent study programme in partnership with BPP, to prepare you for the JIEB assessments. Our training programmes are delivered through a blended learning approach using online live interactive lectures with the revision sessions and mock exams taking place face-to-face in Edinburgh. All our sessions are recorded, with opportunities to stream and watch any sessions you may have missed.
The JIEB exams are held once a year, usually in November. They are comprised of two computer-based papers:
- Corporate insolvency
- Personal insolvency
Each paper is 3 hours long with 1/2 hour allowed for reading time.
All candidates are required to apply for examinations as a registered JIE Student through a Recognised Professional Body such as ICAS.
Further information is available on the JIEB website in terms of the process for applying for the JIEB exam.
