Coming soon – your new ICAS email address
We are constantly making efforts to enhance the user experience for all CA Students. As part of these improvements we will be providing all our Student Members with their own personal @student.icas.com email address.
How will this improve my ICAS experience?
Single log in details
From 22 July you will be required to use your new ICAS email address, and the password you create for it, to access the various websites, online learning and exam platforms you’ll need throughout your CA training. This will keep things easy to manage and save you from having to remember a range of different log-in details. We will automatically update all the systems for you, so you won’t need to do anything other than use your new email and password when logging in.
You will need your new ICAS email address to access:
- icas.com student resources
- Your RPE achievement logbook
- CA Connect
- Microsoft Teams
You will receive all essential, learning-related communications at your new email address. This will help you to keep track of everything you need to know by keeping it all in one place, ensuring you don’t miss any important class or exam information or any useful ICAS updates.
You will also need to use this new email address whenever you're contacting ICAS.
Your new email address will give you free access to Microsoft 365, which can be installed on up to five devices, and includes a range of apps and tools that will benefit your CA training experience:
- Cloud storage
- Microsoft Forms for easy sharing of attachments, forms and documents.
When will I get my new email address?
On 20 July you’ll receive an email from Microsoft with a link to a few simple steps you’ll need to follow to set up your password and access your new ICAS inbox. (Please note that new CA Students who enrolled after June 2020 will receive their email addresses at a slightly later date.)
Required use from 22 July
In order to ensure that you’re ready for any upcoming classes and exams, and don’t miss any important notifications, you’ll need to have set up your email by the deadline of 22 July. You will also need to use your new ICAS email address whenever you're getting in touch with us.
From that date onwards, you will also be required to use your new ICAS email, and the password you create, to log in to the various CA learning systems listed above.
Setting up your ICAS email is easy – just follow the instructions in the email you'll receive from Microsoft on 20 July – but just in case you have any problems we've put together a step-by-step guide.
In the meantime, if you have any questions please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 0131 347 0100.
