Episode two: Baroness Helena Morrissey

Change in the City: What skills do you need in a post-pandemic London?
A hugely successful finance professional, mother of nine and advocate for workplace diversity and equality, Baroness Helena Morrissey is a truly inspirational business leader.
As CEO of Newton Investment Management, Morrissey helped grow the firm from £20bn in assets under management to £50bn. In 2010 following the financial crash she launched the 30% Club to improve gender diversity on boards and senior management teams. A decade later, the proportion of women on FTSE 100 boards had risen from 5% in 2010 to 34.5%.
Now, in the wake of another crisis, significant change in the City is again under way.
Organisations are evolving their business models and there is a shift in attitudes and approaches to working life.
Today’s business leaders require an increasingly diverse, and different set of skills, as organisational structures change and hybrid working becomes the norm.
This is an exclusive opportunity for London Members to meet Baroness Helena Morrissey – to hear her views on the skills that the business leaders of today and tomorrow will need.
Don’t miss this chance to put your questions direct to Helena and to engage with fellow Members in the City in face-to-face, virtual networking sessions.
