Claire McGregor, Singapore

294459:v3Claire joined Grant Thornton’s Glasgow office in August 2013 having completed an Accounting and Finance degree at Newcastle University. She was admitted to membership in November 2016.

She has also travelled to Kuala Lumpur, Cambodia and the Maldives, and has plans to visit Japan and Hong Kong before the end of the year.

Moving abroad has been a large learning curve and pushed Claire out of her comfort zone. She has relied on her ICAS qualification to guide her through Singaporean FRS and expand her contacts in the Singaporean market. Claire hopes to help others who are thinking of moving abroad and is willing to provide any advice where she can. She is also looking to connect with the CAs living in Singapore and wider South East Asia.
