ICAS recognises that, as a result of disabilities or learning difficulties, some Student Members will require reasonable adjustments to how we provide learning and assessment during their CA learning journey.

Disability rights and support
Scope
Scope is the disability equality charity in England and Wales. They provide practical information and emotional support when it's most needed
campaign to create a fairer society. You can access their support services including a telephone helpline and an online community.
Employment and employer support
Remploy
Remploy is a leading provider of specialist employment and skills support for disabled people and those with health conditions. They aim to transform the lives of disabled people and those experiencing complex barriers to work by supporting thousands of people every year across a range of programmes.
Louder than words - help for employees with hearing loss
Louder than words' workplace assessments are designed to help employees with hearing loss perform at their best. The assessment will recommend equipment, support and reasonable adjustments that can be introduced to help an employee work more easily and effectively.
The workplace assessment report can be used to apply for a grant from the government’s Access to Work scheme. A grant can help employers cover the cost of adjustments.
Dyslexia
British Dyslexia Association
The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) has been the voice of dyslexic people since 1972. They offer a range of dyslexia-related services, from advice for individuals and employers to workplace assessments, courses and a free and confidential helpline.
Dyslexia Scotland
Dyslexia Scotland is a national charity dedicated to enabling people with dyslexia in Scotland to realise their potential. Their confidential helpline offers advice and guidance on dyslexia-related issues in Scotland. They also offer advice and support to individuals, parents and employers.
