Tax Research Network (TRN) – 5-7 September 2022

This year, the TRN annual conference is taking place at Old College, University of Edinburgh.

The first two days are the tax research days, and academics from all over the world will be presenting their papers on a number of different topical issues. The third day is the education day, where tax academics and lecturers including ICAS education will be holding their traditional day-long event.

ICAS delivering this year’s Keynote Speech: Devolved Taxes in Scotland: the Story So Far

ICAS Tax’s Justine Riccomini has been asked to deliver the Keynote speech (The title of which is “Devolved Taxes in Scotland: The Story So Far”) together with the Scottish Government’s Tax Directorate at 15.30 on Tuesday 6 September. This will be followed by a drinks reception at 17.00.

ICAS Members wishing to attend the event have two options open to them:

EITHER:

Register to attend the TRN research days in full (paid) as an in-person (register by 31 July 2022) or virtual (register by 29 August) delegate and attend the keynote speech and drinks reception.  For this option, delegates can register using this link.

OR:

Register to attend the Keynote speech and ICAS-sponsored drinks reception only and network with other members and tax academics and educators (free to ICAS Members). For this option, register using this link. Please note that places will be limited.
