As far as the law is concerned, there are certain restrictions and requirements that apply before an employment relationship is formed. And even if an employment relationship is never formed, employers owe certain duties to candidates during the recruitment process, even though they may not ultimately employ them.

What you will gain
The purpose of this course is to enable you to gain an understanding of the impact of employment law on both the recruitment process and the formation of the contract of employment.
Course content
By the end of this course, you will have a greater understanding of:
- the legal requirements applicable during the recruitment process
- the legal points applicable once a decision has been made to offer a particular candidate employment
- the way in which an employment contract is formed
- the importance of properly documenting this and any subsequent changes to the contract
