This course looks at recent developments in this area with particular emphasis on recent case law examining the meaning of the ‘serious harm’ test set out in s1 of the Defamation Act 2013.
It then goes on to review the single publication rule and the website operators’ defence as well as consideration of a recent case concerning defamatory online reviews.
