All ICAS members are required to undertake appropriate continuing professional development (CPD) unless they are exempt.
It's your responsibility to assess whether you meet the exemption criteria and to review your exemption status regularly, as circumstances change.
Who may be exempt?
You may be exempt from ICAS CPD requirements if you fall into one of the following categories:
- Fully retired
- Unemployed
- On a career break
- On maternity or paternity leave
- On long-term sickness absence
- A full-time carer
