ICAS launches two new calls for research on the future of the profession
We’ve launched two exciting new calls for research to set out a bold and ambitious future for the profession.
These calls form part of our Shaping the Profession programme, which seeks to define a relevant, trusted and valued future for accountancy.
One of the projects will focus on the contribution of the profession to society now and in the future through building trust in the economy. The second will consider the skills, knowledge and capabilities accounting professionals may develop in the coming years as they strengthen their own professional judgement.
The successful project will have its findings published in 2027 with a focus on actionable insights for our members.
Applications are welcome from individuals, businesses (such as research agencies), think-tanks and academic institutions. Funding of £16,000 is available for each project.
