In 2014, ICAS introduced a new mandatory requirement to attend the Practice Management Course once in every five years.

If you are a Practicing Certificate Holder and have not attended one of these events over the past three years, you must attend either this year or next.  We recommend that you attend this year and don’t leave it to the last moment.

Even if you have attended previously, we would encourage you to attend one of these events this year, as there will be a session on the new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation coming out in June 2017 and you will have the opportunity to discuss this with your peers and industry experts.

Below are an outline of the topics that will be discussed at each location.

Outline of key topics covered:

  1. Financial management  -  Adapting to changing times/practices
  2. Regulatory and legal update including  Client Money Regulations and the  General Data Protection Regulation
  3. Anti-Money Laundering  - the UK’s Mutual Evaluation Review, the new ICAS monitoring approach and the new 2017 Regulations
  4. Discussion Groups
  5. Professional Conduct in challenging times; avoiding complaints; with case studies.

Speakers will be drawn from the following expert ICAS personnel:

Charlotte Barbour

James Barbour

Lesley Byrne

Jeremy Clarke,

Ken McManus

Robert Mudge,

The cost to attend is £105 + VAT.

We recommend booking your place at your earliest convenience.
