Members Board is the body appointed by Council to be responsible for providing strategic direction, guidance, oversight and challenge to the member engagement work undertaken by ICAS.

Role and responsibilities

The duties of the Members Board are set out in ICAS’ General Regulations as follows:

  • To monitor delivery of the strategy, such as is relevant to the work of the Members Board.
  • To provide advice on any matters affecting its interests.

The role of Members Board in 2025 is to support the 2030 Strategy.

In discharging its role, the Members Board seeks to act in a way which best represents the interests of ICAS, its members and firms, as well as the public interest in general. It also seeks to engage members in its work so far as possible.
