Tax spring updates hosted by ICAS tax department
Tax experts from ICAS will be holding a series of tax update events around Scotland this spring.
These events will give members an overview of the tax matters arising from the 2016 Finance Bill, and the key tax issues affecting businesses and practices in Scotland.
The new Scottish taxes and HMRC’s ‘Making Tax Digital’ initiative will also be covered in the event series, led by Charlotte Barbour, ICAS Director of Taxation, and Phillip McNeill, ICAS Head of Taxation (Tax Practice and Small Business).
Charlotte Barbour said: “We look forward to meeting as many members as possible at the Spring Update talks. The events are an opportunity for members to hear what the ICAS tax department is doing on their behalf, and to feed back their views to ICAS; it is also an opportunity to network with fellow members.”
The ICAS Tax Spring Update events will be held throughout April and May in the following locations. Members can book online to attend the events:
The annual ICAS Tax Conference will be held at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow on 24 May 2016. This flagship event is chaired by Aidan O’Carroll and includes an expert panel of speakers.
