The Pensions Regulator has launched a new interactive step-by-step website guide aimed at employers. It is designed specifically to help small and micro employers meet their legal duties. By answering some simple questions they will be able to quickly find out if they have to put any of their staff into a pension scheme and if they employ a personal care assistant or domestic staff they will find an online journey tailored for their situation.

Workie says: ‘Don’t ignore the workplace pension’
A new character (pictured above) has recently been introduced with the launch of a campaign to raise awareness of workplace pensions. Workie, who is intended to be the physical embodiment of the workplace pension, will be seen visiting people in all sorts of work environments over the coming months, asking them not to ignore him. A new Twitter hashtag has also been created - #DontIgnoreIt
