Legislation, guidance and checklists for insolvency practitioners

The ICAS Insolvency Committee develops and issues guidance on specific insolvency related issues, aimed at assisting its Insolvency Practitioners (IPs). ICAS IPs are expected to comply with the guidance, however, should they not do so they must be in a position to provide valid explanations for any departure.

ICAS has also issued a number of Case Review Checklists aimed at assisting practitioners in smaller firms to provide documentary evidence of periodic review of their cases.
