This module reviews the key characteristics of two classes of alternative assets – commercial property and infrastructure. It considers the advantages and disadvantages of investing in commercial property and its past performance. It then compares the attractions of investing directly versus those of using collectives, as well as looking at the vehicles available to smaller investors wishing to access the market.

It then turns to infrastructure investing and looks at the different sectors of the market - transport, utilities and social infrastructure.

Finally it considers the advantages of infrastructure investment as well as the concerns of investors in infrastructure
