Research opportunity for accounting and finance practitioners with the University of Edinburgh
A University of Edinburgh project provides an opportunity for ICAS Members to partner with postgraduate students.
The University of Edinburgh is seeking ICAS Members working in accounting and finance to host postgraduate research projects along with students from their MSc Accounting and Finance programme.
University of Edinburgh students are always keen to partner with a host organisation to carry out their summer project and appreciate the opportunity to gain real business insights by doing so.
The project, which will take place in summer 2021, is free to participate in and represents a chance for ICAS Members to commission research into a topic of their choice and to the benefit their business.
The output of each project will be an in-depth report with an executive summary, and the commitment on your part as the host would be fairly minimal – once the project is underway you would probably only be in contact with the student a handful of times.
Apply now or find out more
Once the short application form has been completed (including a brief outline of the proposed project and some information about what sort of student you are looking for), Dr Marian Gatzweiler, the University of Edinburgh programme director, will contact you to discuss further.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is December, although the University would be keen to gauge outline interest by the end of September.
