Key points:

  • ICAS and training partner BPP are switching face-to-face CPD courses to virtual Online Classrooms.
  • If you are unable to attend our live online courses, a range of self-paced discounted course bundles are also available.
  • Visit the ICAS coronavirus hub for helpful tips and the latest updates.

We are switching our face-to-face CPD courses to virtual Online Classrooms.

In line with the current government guidance on social distancing and their advice of not to attend or arrange mass gatherings, we have decided to move our Continuing Professional Development face-to-face courses into virtual Online Classrooms for the remainder of 2020.

Through our training partner BPP Professional Development, their Online Classroom Live virtual classrooms will allow you to still attend our CPD courses. You will still be able to interact and communicate with other attendees, view and discuss presentation materials and learn, all in an online environment.

The key difference between these and our self-paced online course programmes are that these courses are live and are delivered by instructors, who will facilitate the session and work through the learning objectives and content in real time. The platform also encourages the exchange of different thoughts and ideas among learners.

From Tuesday 31 March 2020, we will try where possible to mirror the scheduled dates and times of the courses that you had originally booked, with a replacement live online session. The BPP team will be contacting delegates who had already booked courses with details of how to access the sessions.

Thank you for your patience, as we take the necessary measures to be responsive to an evolving situation. Please also bear with us as all course pages and booking information is updated on icas.com.

We are changing our mode of teaching for face-to-face learning, as a response to the coronavirus pandemic. We know that online learning may be not be your usual preferred method of learning but we ask that you give Online Classroom Live a go, as we believe that our innovative platform and our PD courses will change the way you view and undertake your CPD in the future”. Richard Howse - Managing Director of Professional Development, BPP.
