Free Leadership Coaching taster session - Hybrid Leadership in a Changing World

In advance of our upcoming Autumn ICAS Leadership Coaching Programmes for Aspiring and Executive Leaders, we are running a free one-hour virtual taster session on the theme of Hybrid Leadership in a Changing World.

The session will take place on on Wednesday 31 August at 4pm and will be facilitated by Russell Borland and Thomas Chalmers, Partners at Leading Figures coaching consultancy; and their associate Janet Hayes, Executive and Team Coach.

In this interactive session, Leading Figures will explore the challenges facing organisations that have been upended or transformed by Covid-19. The molecular structure of the workplace has been challenged and changed to the point where some employees are running for the door if the flexibility and work/life balance that they experienced during the pandemic is no longer an option. This trend (now commonly referred to as The Great Resignation) has become a disconcerting risk for many organisations.

Leaders continue to grapple with an array of post-pandemic options most of which include an amalgam of arrangements that can make for difficult and disjointed teamwork. The landscape has shifted, and effective leadership is therefore more important than ever. As well as exploring common challenges, this session will highlight practices and behaviours that have stood the test of time and will continue to be relevant for hybrid leadership in a changing world.

Session Agenda

  • Introduction to Session (5 mins)
  • Interactive Session (35 mins)
    • This session will include a discussion with delegates on the theme of Hybrid Leadership in a Changing World when we explore the personal and organisational challenges associated with leading others in the post-pandemic work environment. Topics explored will include:
      • Different hybrid approaches and how they are continuing to evolve – what’s working and what’s not working. What are the common challenges?
      • How people are relating and adapting to the workplace, and what happens when they don’t get the flexibility and work/life balance that they previously experienced? Is the Great Resignation over or still relevant?
      • How have client relationships been impacted by new hybrid working arrangements?
      • What leadership practices and behaviours are still effective regardless of the hybrid model
  • More information on the Aspiring and Executive Leadership Programmes including Registration process (10 mins)
  • Time for questions on our Programmes (5 mins)
  • Wrap up (5 mins)

Numbers are limited to 50 participants for this interactive 60-minute session, which is bound by the Chatham House Rule. This is an opportunity to meet our facilitators, experience their approach and consider if either of our Leadership Coaching programmes might be of interest to you.

If you would like to join us for this taster session, please register via the link below.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the session via Zoom.
