CPI / CPPI 2021 Training Programme for Insolvency Professionals

Both insolvency training programmes are delivered through online live interactive lectures with opportunities to stream and watch any sessions you may have missed.

Entry requirements and exemptions

No previous experience or qualifications are needed for you to undertake this course.

Although it does not provide an actual exemption to the JIEB exams, with 2,000 licensed insolvency practitioners in the UK, success in the CPI exams can play an important role in preparing for the highest level of study and practice.

Additional charges

In addition to your programme fees, there may be additional charges associated with your studies, which include:

Amounts payable to professional body for registration: £120
Subscription fee: £255

Please note, it is your responsibility to register with the IPA and to pay your CPI exam fees. These are not included in BPP course fees.

The Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI)

The Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) is a great first step to developing your career in insolvency - a qualification that's recognised both inside and outside the insolvency profession. It can also be used as a stepping stone to attempting the Joint Insolvency Examination Board Exams (JIEB), which must be passed before applying for an Insolvency Practitioner's Licence with ICAS.

The CPI training programme equips you with a sound knowledge of insolvency law and practice - whether you're already working in insolvency or in a related profession and considering making it your future career.

The Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency is a flexible, intermediate qualification that covers both corporate and personal insolvency.
