Who's who in the Practice team
David Menzies CA
| Director of PracticeI provide strategic leadership and management of the Practice Team within Professional Standards, ensuring that practitioners receive guidance, advice, and support where necessary. I also provide advice, guidance and support to ICAS Insolvency Licence holders through specialist technical knowledge with the objective of influencing UK and Scottish insolvency policy, practice and legislation. As the secretariat for the Members in Practice Advisory Board (MiPAB) and the Insolvency Committee, if there is anything that anyone in practice wishes to raise through these routes then please contact me. |
Jeremy Clarke CA
| Assistant Director, PracticeI am an Assistant Director in the Practice Team and provide guidance, advice, counsel and support to members in practice. I also consult on all aspects of practice management, including succession planning, practice M&As, staff issues and strategy. I have particular specialisms in anti-money laundering responsibilities and procedures, and I advise on the practical implications for practice of Making Tax Digital. |

| Practice Support Specialist (Insolvency)I provide support to the practice community through the effective delivery of practice services and support, with a focus on the insolvency community. I am qualified to act as an Insolvency Practitioner and therefore have a particular specialism in insolvency matters. I support the Director of Practice in providing advice, guidance and support to ICAS Insolvency Licence holders through specialist technical knowledge with the objective of influencing UK and Scottish insolvency policy, practice and legislation. |
