Wireless Infrastructure Group (WIG) is an independent telecommunications infrastructure company and the UK market leader for neutral host connectivity solutions. Since their launch in 2007, they have invested in over 2,200 shared wireless infrastructure facilities. Their main customers include major mobile network providers such as O2, Vodafone, EE and Three.
Head of Finance is an important and high-profile role at Wireless Infrastructure Group with primary responsibility for managing the group finance team, the preparation of board reporting and managing the budgeting process.
The Head of Finance will lead or support finance and business initiatives as they arise, including acquisitions, integrations and debt fundraisings, and should be able to deliver to a consistently high standard under pressure.

About the individual
To apply for this role, you will be a professionally qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, ACMA) with PQE commensurate with a role at this level of responsibility.
Applicants will have significant experience of working in organisations with a high degree of complexity, leading and motivating teams to perform at their optimum. You will be expert in developing strong relationships across functions and skilled in presenting to senior stakeholders both within and outside of the business. Experience in selecting and implementing new accounting software/ERP systems is highly desirable.
Key skills, knowledge and abilities include:
- Ability to present financial information clearly, concisely and in an engaging manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including use of Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify business improvement opportunities and drive implementation
- Ability to engage with and influence senior management and shareholder representatives
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of accounting standards and developments relevant to the business
