With such a presence down under, there are thriving local communities within the major cities in Australia. ICAS members regularly meet up to keep in touch and for hosting networking events. Why not meet up with fellow members and help to further enhance a leading professional community?

Jonathan Dunlop (Sydney Chair)

Jonathon Dunlop Jonathan has been a partner of KPMG since 1997.  He has significant experience in working with clients on highly strategic projects, helping develop a deeper understanding of their issues and finding commercial solutions.   Jonathan particularly enjoys using his experience and insights to assist his clients undertake successful transactions.

Jonathan is concerned about the consequences of persistent disadvantage in society.  Since 2013, he has been a member of the advisory board of The Buttery, a charity that helps people recovering from addiction.

Jonathan is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and INSEAD.  He is a member of ICAS, ICANZ, AICD.

Billy Meston (Perth Chair)

Billy Meston Billy is a Partner with PwC in Australia, based in Perth. He has been a partner since January 2008 following his move from the UK. Billy has been working with private, entrepreneurial and not-for-profit organisations in Australia and the UK since 1994.

He specialises in external audit, corporate governance, process and performance improvement, strategy, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, national and international expansion.

Billy leads the assurance practice of The Private Client Group within PwC in Western Australia.

He is a Director and Trustee of the Australian Defence Force Assistance Trust, where he is Chairman of the Audit, Finance and Investment Committees. Billy also sits on the Committee of The 500 Club, WA.

Ken Weldin (Melbourne Chair)

Ken Weldin Ken is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance practice of our Melbourne office. Ken brings an understanding of how complex groups work, the ability to work in and around the Boardroom and C-suite and from that, to cover the technical requirements of your external reporting requirements.

With over 20 year’s professional experience in the UK, US and Australia including time in commercial financial roles in industry, he understands the importance of ‘the Right Information, of the Right Quantity, of the Right Quality and at the Right Time’ in informing corporate decision making and financial reporting outcomes.

Ken holds an MBA where he focused on Corporate Governance and Board Performance and Director Induction matters in particular and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (formerly Chartered Secretaries Australia), gaining the leading corporate governance qualification in Australia.

He is a recognised subject matter expert in corporate governance and experienced practitioner in providing tailored governance, risk and compliance solutions in both the public and private sectors, drawing upon learnings from his role as lead external auditor to some of Australia’s largest entities.

Ken is a published author on the topic of corporate governance and frequent lecturer on key themes as well as serving on the Governance Institute’s National Legislation Review Committee as an active member of a number of working parties providing comments to regulators and standard setters.

Ken’s recent work has focused on the role of culture and conduct in corporate decision making.
