Pensions auto-enrolment is arguably the biggest revolution in the pensions industry for a century. Although auto-enrolment has been hailed as a political success story, the largest hurdles are still to come.

This event will be jointly hosted by ICAS and Standard Life and will include a presentation from The Pensions Regulator and a live Q&A and discussion at the end.

The Pensions Regulator will update on the number of companies enrolled so far, as well as discussing whether Pensions auto-enrolment is an opportunity or a threat for accountancy firms, citing exemplar case studies of employer mistakes.

Standard Life speakers Elaine Smith and Graeme Bell will then dispel some myths around auto-enrolment, including the difficulty of enrolling, cost of enrolling and ‘big insurers aren’t interested’.

As well as gaining valuable insight and advice into pensions and auto enrolment, this event will also provide an excellent opportunity to network with your fellow CAs and business professionals.
