University Accreditation for the ICAS Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification

University degree courses can gain ICAS accreditation, allowing their graduates the opportunity to claim certain exemptions from the CA qualification.

Graduates with ICAS-accredited degrees can qualify for exemptions from the courses and exams of the initial, Test of Competence (TC), stage of the CA qualification.

Universities wishing to become ICAS accredited can download our PDF guide or please email our University Accreditation Manager, Chris Cunnane for further information.

The accreditation process is based on a self-assessment undertaken by the university, which is submitted to ICAS and is then subject to a desk review.
