Exam travel disruption announcement December 2015

Forth Road Bridge
By ICAS Education Team

10 December 2015

Students travelling from Fife and the surrounding areas are likely to face disruption during the forthcoming exams from 14 - 17 December 2015.

This is as a result of ongoing repair works to the Forth Road Bridge, and we are conscious that this could potentially impact on the travel arrangements for those travelling to examination centres.

Please therefore ensure that you leave sufficient time for your journey, and have a suitable contingency plan in place to ensure that you arrive at your examination centre for the start of your exam.

Local media outlets are scheduled to provide regular updates on disruptions and / or problems on local travel networks and we would ask that all students check local media for details.

You will find up to date information to assist your travel plans on the following webpage - https://trafficscotland.org/frbclosure/

ICAS will continue to operate all examination centres as normal unless a specific announcement is made on the ICAS website and / or local radio.

If you do encounter difficulties getting to the examination venue please contact the exams department on 0131 347 0191 or and 0131 347 0192
