Behind the scenes at BPP with Charlotte Cowin
Many CA students complete their ICAS training at a BPP training centre. Charlotte Cowin is ICAS Programme Manager for BPP, and her role is about making sure that BPP can deliver the ICAS qualification to a consistently high standard.
Here’s how she does it:
My role with BPP
My role at BPP is to act as a key point of contact between BPP, key clients and ICAS, working closely with internal teams to ensure service and programme requirements are met.
My key responsibilities include planning the courses, ensuring that the courses are delivered as planned, analysing trainee performance and ensuring a consistent educational experience is delivered across all classes, in all locations.
A bit about me
I joined BPP after working for Ernst & Young for two years in a client-facing account role in the Asset Management department. Prior to EY I worked at PwC on the School Leaver Programme, completing my professional qualification with BPP. I spent five years at PwC working as an external auditor.
Whilst at PwC I took a six-month secondment post-qualification to the PwC Internal Exam Training Team, assuming the role of Professional Qualifications Manager, monitoring the firm’s graduates. This is where my interest grew for helping students with their studies.
