Flexible Workforce Development Fund

The Flexible Workforce Development Fund is now open to all employers across Scotland, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The fund supports businesses in Scotland to upskill and reskill employees, through professional training.
The Flexible Workforce Fund (FWDF) is operated through the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) on behalf of the Scottish Government. The Scottish Funding Council administers the scheme on behalf of colleges and the Open University in Scotland (OUiS), whilst Skills Development Scotland (SDS) administers the scheme on behalf of independent training providers.
Through our training partnership with BPP Professional Development, you could use the funding granted through the Flexible Workforce Development Fund to cover a range of training courses for your employees and organisation.
The fund works on a first come, first served basis. It'll remain open until fully allocated. The last date for applications is July 31 2023.
