The quest to find this year's ICAS One Young CA ends at midnight on Friday 30 March. With less than a week to go, we hear from 2017 winner Jonny Jacobs CA and share our reasons for you to enter this competition, held in association with Investec Click & Invest.

1. Visibility in the CA community

Being named One Young CA is a way to raise your profile as a young, leading, influential professional.

Your visibility within the ICAS network and beyond is widely promoted in The CA magazine, on ICAS.com, in our digital publications, and in the national press. The One Young CA is also invited to speak at ICAS events and comment on initiatives for CAs throughout their term.

This is your chance to make an impact on the CA community and share your story.

2. Professional pride

Entering the One Young CA competition shows self-awareness and pride in your achievements as a CA.

Having confidence in yourself and your professional capabilities is an important part of developing a career. This could be your first step in getting others to buy into your goals and values. Prove that you can put yourself out there and know you are making a difference.

Celebrate your success with the ICAS community and take that accolade forward.

3. One Young World

The winner of One Young CA will represent ICAS at the One Young World Summit, held this year in The Hague, Netherlands.

This is an amazing opportunity for a Young CA to attend a truly unique experience and connect with leaders, influencers and inspirational people from all around the world. Last year, nearly 1500 young delegates heard from the likes of Kofi Annan, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, Bob Geldof, and Cher about being empowered to make a difference.

One Young World promises to be an equally thrilling event in 2018 and the ICAS One Young CA has a guaranteed place.

All qualified ICAS CAs under the age of 35 are eligible for entry. Entries close at midnight on 30 March 2018.
