Top 30 UK Accountancy Firms ranked by revenue

PwC reported a second consecutive year of double digit revenue growth with an 11% increase from last year’s report to £3.44bn, while Deloitte's revenues also hit a record high of £3.1bn.

During 2015, the high value of the US dollar meant that growth in other markets wasn’t generally reflected in headline revenue figures and more of that seems inevitable for 2016/17.

For example, EY reported just over 3% growth in headline revenues to $29.6bn for the financial year ending 30 June 2016, but in local currency terms revenue was up 9%. Also, Grant Thornton recorded a fall in dollar terms from $4.7bn to $4.6bn; but in terms of revenue in its various member firms it saw a 6% growth.
