The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka joins CAW
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) has become the sixth Associate Member of Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW).
As an Associate Member, CA Sri Lanka will join more than 640,000 Chartered Accountants who are already members of CAW.
Established in 1959 by an Act of Parliament, CA Sri Lanka strives to raise professional standards both in Sri Lanka and abroad, while also playing an integral role as the sole accredited authority that formulates Accounting and Auditing Standards for Sri Lanka. CA Sri Lanka has more than 5,200 members.
By being admitted to CAW, CA Sri Lanka will gain global recognition for its commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards.

The organisation was created by the leading accountancy institutes from around the world, including ICAS, ICAEW, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Chartered Accountants Ireland and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
