With just a matter of days to go until the announcement of 2016's 35 CAs under 35, Eleanor O'Neill revisits the prestigious prizes awaiting the names on the list.

The top 35 CAs under 35

The top 35 nominated CAs will be honoured in a highly publicised list set for publication in both CA Today and the CA Magazine in July.

The finalists will all receive a free place at the flagship ICAS Conference in September 2016. The event is one of the biggest in the ICAS calendar and this year is centred around the theme of ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurs’. Speakers include a world-renowned entrepreneur, the CA leading the world’s largest conservation charity and the world’s most infamous rogue trader.

They will also be awarded a seat at the annual CA Dinner & One Young CA Awards. The event will be hosted by ICAS Chief Executive Anton Colella and ICAS President Ken McHattie CA in London.

The 35 CAs under 35 will receive the full benefits of a mentor in Career Connect - the ICAS Career Mentoring Programme.

The One Young CA winner

As well as the prizes above, the overall winner of the 35 CAs Under 35 awards will be named this year's One Young CA and will represent ICAS at the prestigious One Young World Summit in Ottawa, Canada. The summit is an international conference that brings together the brightest young leaders from around the world, empowering them to make lasting connections and create positive change.

An invitation will also be extended to attend the high profile President's Dinner.

The winner of One Young CA will also be awarded 12 months’ free access to all BPP/ICAS training courses to help further their professional development.
