ICAS seeks new international members for Council
ICAS is looking for candidates who work outside the EU to represent international members on the ICAS Council, as part of its initiative to create a more global Institute.
Candidates should possess a proven ability to help shape strategy, provide robust governance and oversight along with strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
Applicants should also be politically astute, with an empathy for and understanding of ICAS’ role in society and its public interest obligations in promoting the accountancy profession.
Executive Director for Member Engagement, Atholl Duncan, said: “Our new strategy places at its centre the desire to create a truly global ICAS.
“One of the first steps is to increase international representation on our Council and then to recruit more international members to our Committees.”
Appointments to the ICAS Council are for a four-year term.
