ICAS Masters tournament in association with Close Brothers Asset Finance
An assured performance from the Condies team secured victory at the first ICAS Masters golf tournament, held in association with ICAS Insolvency Community Partners, Close Brothers Asset Finance.
The event took place on 6 April at the Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, near Edinburgh. There were 18 teams from 17 different firms and two teams from ICAS, including President Ken McHattie, Vice President Sandy Manson, ICAS Foundation students and a Foundation mentor.
The tournament was played on Dalmahoy’s West Course under dry but breezy conditions in a four-man Texas scramble format.
ICAS Masters Winners
The winning score was 51.2 net, by the Condies team.
Second and third place went to the EY Eagles and RSM, respectively.
Prizes were also awarded for “longest drive” (Craig Martin), “nearest to the pin” (Stuart Watt) and “best-dressed golfer” (Hamilton Rankine).
The ICAS Foundation
Former Scotland international rugby player Nathan Hines presented the prizes at a dinner at the hotel following the day’s play, and an auction and raffle were held, raising around £3,400 for the ICAS Foundation.
