Crosswind Developments Ltd appoints Graeme Gibson CA as CFO
Graeme Gibson, a finalist in ICAS’ Top 35 CAs Under 35 2017, has been appointed CFO of Crosswind Developments Ltd, the property development sister company of Edinburgh Airport.
In the two years that Graeme was Head of Finance Projects at Edinburgh Airport he made a significant impact in the role.
Graeme graduated from the University of Oxford in 2003 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics. In 2005, he started his training with Deloitte while working in in audit, and qualified in 2009.
Crawford Hunt CA joins Moore Stephens as a Consultant
Crawford Hunt has moved to Lisbon, Portugal to take up a position as Consultant - International Funding Institutions for Moore Stephens International covering Europe and Mozambique.
Crawford previously worked for RBS and was based in Edinburgh.
Hannah Lowry CA joins Ecrebo as CFO
Ecrebo, the point of sale marketing specialist, has appointed Hannah Lowry as CFO.
Hannah has more than ten years’ financial experience with multinational organisations in Europe and the Middle East.
Commenting on her new role, Hannah said, “I am very excited to join a business with such huge potential at this exciting stage of its journey.
“Ecrebo’s technology, passionate and accomplished team and recent investment, provides a strong platform for significant growth.
“Joining Ecrebo's senior leadership team is a great opportunity and I’m looking forward to playing a part in the company’s success story.”
KPMG hires new Managing Director in its Asset Management practice
Neil Macdonald will assume the newly-created position to increase the teams’ capacity to support clients.
Neil previously held senior roles at JP Morgan Asset Management, BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors.
On joining the Big Four firm, Neil said, “I look forward to working with colleagues and clients around the globe to implement the changes that will help secure future success.”
BDO announces tax team promotions
Robert Aziz has been promoted to Global Head of Tax, leading the international network’s team of more than 10,000 tax specialists across 162 countries, while Stephanie Wilson has been promoted to National Head of Employment Tax, leading a team of around 50 specialists.
Andy Butterworth, National Head of Tax at BDO, said: “Our tax team has witnessed phenomenal growth in the last two years, both here in the UK and internationally.
“The opportunity for Robert and Stephanie to step up into these new roles is testament to their impressive work and experience.”
