Rohan Sharma CA promoted at Travelport

Rohan Sharma CA has been made Chief of Staff for the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Commercial Strategy at Travelport.

Having worked within the organisation for almost four years, Rohan has held a number of senior roles supporting the C-suite. He previously worked at Deloitte Consulting and qualified as a CA with Ernst and Young in 2010.

New Director at PwC

Adam Lane has been named as Director of PwC's pensions investment consulting business.

Adam joins the Big Four firm from Mercer having set up and led its Financial Strategy Group in the North of England.

Sinead Leahy, Partner for PwC investment consulting, said: “The recruitment of a specialist of Adam’s calibre is a sign of our commitment to invest in and grow our investment consulting business.

"Adam’s experience extends far beyond CDI and covers all aspects of investment consulting, notably asset allocation, manager selection and risk management."

Hampden & Co appoint new Head of Banking Management

Independent bank Hampden & Co have announced that Andrew Jackson is taking on the newly-created post of “Head of Banking Management” in their Mayfair, London office.

With over 30 years in private banking, he joins from the private bank Duncan Lawrie.

Graeme Hartop, CEO of Hampden & Co, said: “Andrew Jackson is one of private banking’s most respected and experienced practitioners and it is testimony to the success of our private banking proposition that he wants to become part of our team.”

PPF announces new Head of ESG

The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) has appointed Claire Curtin as its Head of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG).

Claire joins PPF from Trucost where she was the Head of the Global Financial Institutions Business team.

Barry Kenneth, PPF Chief Investment Officer, said: “It’s great to welcome Claire into her new role as Head of ESG.

"Claire’s experience of working and communicating with institutional investors across a wide range of asset classes as well as a deep technical understanding of ESG issues will help grow and evolve our investment function.”

Old Mutual Wealth bolsters adviser support team

John Corbyn and Ash Kapasi have joined Old Mutual's adviser support team where they will work with advisers enhance their understanding of pensions and offshore bonds and trust structures.

John joins Old Mutual Wealth after holding previous roles at Standard Life and Winterthur, which later became part of AXA Wealth, where he was head of specialist products sales.

Ash brings more than 20 years’ experience in the tax and trust industry, and specialises in helping advisers and their clients to achieve their financial planning goals.

Scott Goodsir, managing director of UK distribution, Old Mutual Wealth, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome both John and Ash into Old Mutual Wealth.
