About the opportunity
Our Client are a UK specialist in Environmental sustainability with over 200 sites across a varied portfolio. Our client are continuing to expand in Scotland and are looking to recruit a newly qualified accountant into the Glasgow Team. With a headcount of over 100, you will be joining an industry leader with a growth mentality and the Management Accountant will work in a collaborative team enabling them to develop experience along the way.
The Management Accountant will be offered a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000+bonus and will include hybrid working, pension and competitive holiday structure
About the role
The Management Accountant will join a commercial finance team with exposure across a multi-site environment. You will enjoy a varied workload in a dynamic team providing management information to support business decisions in a fast changing environment. You will be responsible for the full management accounting processes and P&L/Balance Sheet of several entities, inter-company accounting and support with financial planning & analysis activities.
The Management Accountant will liaise with the business on a regular basis in order to understand and improve operational processes and will work with the business partnering team to aid budgeting and forecasting process.
You will support with projects and a continuous improvement approach across business processes and will provide strong reporting and analysis skills to contribute to the success of the business.
Working alongside other qualified accountants you will gain experience in developing skills and reporting requirements with a healthy mix of stakeholder engagement along the way.
About the individual
You will be a Qualified accountant with strong communication and reporting skills. You will adapt well to problem solving and have strong analysis skills to build pictures in the data and provide detailed commentary to support decision making. Industry or practice experience is welcome yet the desire to work in an progressive environment essential!
