Our professional care, nursing and therapy teams enable guests with long term conditions to have a great holiday which in turn, gives their carers a break. What we do makes a real difference to the lives of thousands of people. About the role

Are you an experienced finance professional who can use your skills to help Leuchie House to deliver more of our purpose to more people? If you want to join a purpose driven team, with clear ambition and you want to broaden your range of influence across a whole organisation this might be the ideal role for you.

All members of the leadership team have shared responsibility to ensure that Leuchie delivers high quality of care, as measured by the Care Inspectorate, within a financially sustainable operational model.

This role works closely with the CEO and has lead responsibility for ensuring organisational delivery and growth takes place in the context of a sustainable financial model. With good attention to detail and through constructive challenge and advice, you will contribute to overall leadership, strategy design, planning and reporting.

Preparing budgets and accounts, accurately and pro-actively monitoring and reporting our income and expenditure and supporting decision making with financial planning information will be important features of the role.

About the individual

As a qualified accountant, you will be interested in using your well-developed analytical skills alongside your persuasive and excellent verbal and written communication skills to help drive our organisation forward. You will care about causes and you will understand or be keen to learn about and apply your knowledge of the context in which a charity operates.

Whilst you will be able to use finance systems to produce and analyse data, we are more interested in your ability to translate that knowledge into information which your leadership team colleagues and management team can use to make decisions.
